XCONCEPT is an emerging brand with an explosive and creative character born in Florence, in Tuscany, in 2007. The designer Gino Bensi has a long experience in fashion having previously worked for Prada, Armani, Dondup etc. What inspired him are the many trips, especially to Bali, where for the first time he conceived the “CONCEPT X”, a real lifestyle that will be the reason for all his future collections.
XCONCEPT talks about independence, stylistic research, and the heart of a divergent inner expression. The DNA of the brand is based on recurring themes, first of the entire journey beyond borders and freedom without constraints. Contemporary eastern Asian moods are mixed with European metropolitan life paying close attention to those who want to distinguish themselves without necessarily following the current fashion. His style comes from asymmetric, soft and flexible shapes and the predominant colours in all the collections are grey, black and white.
All this to create an independent design and a product with a strong personality. The collections are mainly unisex, an androgynous look focused on shapes and layered cuts with some pieces faithful to elegant tailoring while others are more dynamic and athletic. Much attention is paid to the choice of fabrics, which in addition to being of top quality are all natural and simple like cotton and wool. The products are made between Bali and Bangkok under the supervision of a Italian team led by Gino Bensi himself.
XCONCEPT is a conceptual and fashionable brand that can be found in avant-garde boutiques where the brand is combined with very high lines. Among the consumers we can find well-known DJs, sports personalities and international celebrities (eg: X Factor Italia, The voice Uk, Will.i.am, Paolo Ruffini etc.).
