Surrealism and the desire to escape from the basic role of clothing are the fundamental concepts on which TOM REBL is founded, which see clothes not as a common uniform but rather as an extension of one’s personality or emotions. TOM REBL was born and raised in Germany but he trained professionally in the UK where his talent was cultivated at the prestigious Central St. Martins College in London. The English period influenced the eccentric and eclectic, visionary and surrealist style of the young designer.

After the first works with names like Vivienne Westwood and Katie Grand in 2005 he decided to move to Italy. Aware of the importance of “Made in Italy”, he dedicates himself to the search for the highest quality materials and starts working closely with Italian producers and artisans of excellent skill. After a break as creative director of the brand Andrew Mackenzie, in 2008 he made his debut with his own label during Milan Fashion Week presenting a collection that surprised both the mix of skills in construction and quality of the garments, but above all for creativity decidedly provocative and captivating with international appeal.

The curious mind of TOM REBL is reflected in his collections where avant-garde creations also draw inspiration from his passions: design, music and contemporary art with references to the past. Typical designer signature is that rebel rock touch visible in all its garments rich in decorations and glam details. Of course there are also lips, a surrealistic symbol par excellence and the brand’s now unmistakable logo.

Over the years thanks to his captivating creativity and deep and authentic research, Tom brings the brand to an international level where among his fans and clients we find celebrities and musicians like Justin Bieber, Green Day, Morgan, Bluvertigo, Ligabue, Gianna Nannini, Negramaro, Emis Killa, Club Dogo, Stash of The Kolors, Cris Cab, Achille Lauro and many others. Numerous interviews and articles have been dedicated to the brand, very strong in the media, on the main sector magazines. TOM REBL presents his new collections at the Milan and Paris fashion week and is located in selected boutiques around the world.
