Leon Louis

LEON LOUIS, creator of the eponymous brand, was born in Aarhus in Denmark. The brand comes to life in 2010 and explores the merits of conventionalism against the great innovators. Every single item is subjected to craftsmanship and tailoring that is reflected in the absolute feeling of lush simplicity. Leon Louis bases his atelier on the value of manual work and puts traditional techniques above innovation, paying tribute to the European masters who have learned to work with high quality natural materials for many centuries. This combination of craftsmanship and avant-garde is simply Leon Louis.

The brand recognizes the minimalist Scandinavian imprint associated with a Japanese design expressed in the complexity of the cuts and workings of the fabrics used to create garments that become true works of contemporary art. Since its foundation to date the various collections have been characterized by uniform, sober and monochromatic inspiration. Leon offers a wide range of clothing ranging from coats and jackets in heavy wool, to leather jackets, to sweaters in silk or jersey, to jeans and trousers to end up with jewels and accessories.

The collections as well as in his personal atelier are presented at the International Fashion Week in Paris and are present in selected boutiques around the world.
