INCONTAMINATO
This project comes from a really important question: could fashion be more human and more useful? Incontaminato wanted to restore meaning, nobility and dignity to work. For this reason they created a series of garments together with two tailoring workshops united by a single fundamental value, that of ethic.
Bazinlab part of Lo Spigolo Social Cooperative, and Anotherskinleather, which is part of Il Pungiglione Onlus Social Cooperative of the Giovanni XXIII community. They develop ethical projects and give job opportunities to people who are not always accepted by society due to their disadvantages.
The idea of the garments they produce is inspired by African typical fashion objects: several of the seamstresses who have collaborated with this brand are from Africa and this connection generated a strong desire to learn and exchange.
The project is part of Generation Universe – ONG and includes several social activities aimed at the mobilization of work, social inclusion and the future of the new generations. Incontaminato believes that the little ordinary things are those which bring us back the sense of an authentic, contemporary and shared Common Good. Join with us this revolution!
