Fessura is an Italian brand of footwear fashion-sport launched in 1999 in Montegranaro, in the Marche region. Born from an intuition of Andrea Vecchiola and his brothers Giorgio and Marco, today the brand is sold in renowned shops and specialized boutiques around the world and chosen by many international designers to act as partners in their collections and fashion shows.

Their passion for a sporty lifestyle, for fashion trends and for arts has generated a new iconic sign: “The Elastic Band”, the elastic band that characterizes all the Fessura lines and that makes it today one of the most original Italian brands in the world of footwear. These shoes, since 1999, have marked the beginning of a trend that is well known all over the world and even today used by many brands such as Y3, Adidas, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Nike and so on. The original name Fessura was chosen to give an unpublished Italian name to the product and is inspired precisely by one of the main details of the shoes, the hole. In fact, without these holes or “cracks”, the elastic band would not work. In 2010 the brand also marks another fundamental innovation in the sector, the sock shoe: comfortable as a sock, resistant as a shoe and wearable as a sandal.
